What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
Where does it come from?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

well. the company was great. but it was a day of bad service.
lunch at cartel with trina, to get the cartel student card.. :) stupid beep beep beep kind of people! (the kind which after SoC, i detest. at first they were ok.. laraine would know.. :P ) grr. stupid. this kind of people work in this kind of restaurant. gr. then in the first place, should know your menu and what you offer right? and I didn’t even ask you to list the menu or anything. just ask you to pass them the order slip for us. grrr. waste our time. (i was surprised that even trina got pissed.. thought she was the even-temper-est person in the world. hahaha. :P )
then there was the bits and pieces staff. could have told us earlier that they were doing stock-taking. waste our time again. but not that angry at them.. they could have earned about $7 of my money though. too bad. :P (and i get to save money.. i am SO broke.)
oh yes, then while buying earrings with trina, some stupid old woman (40-50) (but not the grandma-type) said “EXCUSE ME” very sacarstically and rudely while me and trina were doing browsing the earrings.. i thought she might have been the staff, and if that were true, it would be ok, understandable.. cos they need to take or put stuff here and there.. but no.. she was just some stupid customer who thinks too highly of herself and she didn’t even buy anything from the store. hmpf.
the next few shops were ok.. christofori was nice to be in.. quiet.. calming.. sembawang music store thought I was looking for C.O.A. haha. :) that was funny. :) then poh kim really helped me by alerting me to a very special store where I never thought to look. :) (lucky no one in that store recognised me or anything.) here comes bad service number 3. well actually she wasn’t so bad. but she just couldn’t be bothered with me. and after having gone through all that in the afternoon, it didn’t take much to irritate me. I asked her if they sold this particular cd and usually they check the computer system. but because she was stock-taking, (or packing and unpacking stuff.. I think should be stock-taking.. everyone else seemed to be doing it in other stores..) she didn’t bother. but I didn’t trust her memory, so I searched the shelves myself. and I FOUND the cd! I couldn’t believe it at first. I grabbed the cd and quickly paid for it before it ran away. after I had bought it, I couldn’t keep myself from taking it out and reading and re-reading the title over and over to make sure I had gotten the right cd. :)
and where did I find it? Best Denki. Haha. :P Best Denki in J8 has a cd section! o.o

met lala at queenstown.. :) with weiyang in tow.. haha.. he was a last minute thing.. he messaged me earlier that morning to say that he was bored, so i invited him to go walk walk with lala and i.. haha.. wonder if that made him more bored.. hahaha :P well, as usual, i was late.. but so was weiyang! and we ended up on the same train.. haha… and when lala heard i was late, her reply was, “as expected. =P” haha.. :P
i purposely met up with lala because she say she saw my nice white flats at the urs warehouse sale for $15 (and the shops were selling them at $18.80) woot!! so I had to go and see! some more, she said they probably have my size.. :P :D:D:D
so we headed over there.. and they DO have my size! but I already had my nice nice white heels.. and the black looked classy….... haha.. and the best part is, the price had been reduced to $10!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD:D:D:D so I just had to get them. :)
the sale’s until 10 july. :)
choir was great! the photo taking was hilarious~! the only problem was that it ended so late that I had to share a cab with iris home.. when my trip home could have been freeee… (train concession) oh well. :P

met Trina at bishan at 11 :) we walked around aimlessly for quite awhile and had a nice yummy lunch at cartel. :) and we got a students card! woohoo! :) and did I mention that I got treated for lunch? ;) thanks tri :)
after that, we went orchard to collect my beautiful low heels. :) wheee so nice. :)
then the aimlessness resumed..
until trina’s friends called her and invited us both to “just my luck”! :D with the consent of certain people, ;) I headed off to join them. :) they’re such a wonderful bunch! She’s so lucky to have found a bunch like them in JC :) the movie was scary to me and Mabel though.. haha.. throughout the movie, we kept worrying that something would happen to the main actor/actress.. haha..
after that was another stressful event.. haha.. we went to the arcade to play two rounds of daytona.. for the first round, i stupidly attempted to drive manually.. I came in 4th.. I’m just thankful the rest of them didn’t overtake me by a whole round. :P the second time, I drove “auto” and almost won trina! (who came in first) haha.. oh well. :)
after that, was the most stressful event of all.. the neoprint session. :s haha.. we had no idea which camera to look at 75% of the time and had no time to change the poses.. it was just too quick. :P but we had great fun. :) furthermore, when 5 people share a neoprint machine, the neoprint only costs $2 :) I wanna take more neoprints with Yb.. hee. :)
oh yes, and nanabanana.. haha >:) now I have comrades to bully trina the nanabanana with me >:)

not to say the least, it was great. :) it started off with yumcha at chinatown in the morning. the food was not bad.. but the mango thingy was yummy! well and the ha gao.. and the prawn chee chong fun. :) now, if only the servers stopped hiding in the kitchen for fifteen minutes of the time every quarter of the hour, we might have gotten more food.. (not that I wasn’t full, I just felt cheated that we could have gotten more for our money. :P )
after that, we went to check out the timings and price at kbox chinatown and booked a room at paradiz. then we headed down to dhoby ghaut.. I went vcd/dvd hunting (again.. and for the same reason. :P or similar..) but I couldn’t find the one that I wanted.. I feel like asking lewis or alex or someone (who has expertise in this area) to order it online for me or something and get it for me.. it shouldn’t be that expensive.. i think. :P anyways, they were very nice to pei me to walk all over the place.. from dhoby to hmv at heeren and back to dhoby.. haha.. we were walking around aimlessly for most part though.. haha.. lala went home at this point cos she was still suffering from jet lag and it was time to sleep in Germany.. haha.. i think :P
then we walked alllll the way to paradiz for kbox.. haha.. my feet were starting to hurt. :P kbox was great! I had lots and lots of fun although for the most part of it, I was just sitting there and listening.. but i was content to do that. :) everyone sang so well! (of cos I’m biased towards yb, but everyone sang well. :) ) yaaaaay yb sing so nice!! it seems to be getting nicer and nicer each time I hear him sing! before he went into ns, he didn’t seem to sing as well! seems ns is good for his throat… haha.. although he insists otherwise.. :P yb left after this to go home and rest.. :( the room suddenly felt very very cold without him to hug.. :P
but then we went mindcafe!! woohoo! so fun! haha.. ok some may not think so.. depends what games you play and the company too.. :) we played loot and then ticket to ride the whole night! hahaha.. wheee so fun.. :) and freee! well, except for dinner. :P
and that made an excellent day. :)
(and I saw my nice nice white flats at urs heeren again!! but I’d already bought white heels!! but the flats cheaper! i didn’t buy that thime cos they didn’t have my size.. :( )
